Cognitiv Behavioral Therapy in English

Starting a psychotherapy is an important and often not easily reached decision in life. Our emotional experience is very closely related to our language yet it is often difficult to express personal thoughts, feelings, problems and fears in words - and even more so in a foreign language. Therefore, it is especially important in psychotherapy to be able to communicate in a language in which one feels at home, preferably the mother tongue.
English is not my mother tongue but I have experience in conducting therapy with English speaking clients.
I have specialized in the treatment of:
- depression / burnout
- anxiety disorders (panic disorder, agoraphobie, social phobia, specific phobia, generalized anxiety disorder)
- obsessive compulse disorders
- sexual disorders
- chronic desease, especially chancer
The method of treatment is cognitive behavioral therapy.
How to get started:
For a first personal appointment, call me in the practice. During this first session I will get an understanding of your personal situation and your specific problems und together we will decide how to best go on from there. If I cannot pick up the phone at the moment, because I happen to be in a therapeutic session, please leave a message on my answering machine.
